Tiverton 1st is a grassroots community organization open to all who support preserving our quality of life in Tiverton by maintaining both our community and school services in a fiscally-responsible way, and promoting cooperation, compromise and community pride.
Membership is open to all Tiverton residents who are at least 18 years old & support Tiverton 1st's principles & goals (non-residents or those under 18 years old are welcome to join as non-voting members). SAKONNET BRIDGE TOLL HEARINGS THIS WEDNESDAY AT STATE HOUSE

Toll Hearings. REMINDER Wednesday.

 Many people are driving up and see below for shuttle as well. Parking is tight up there, so planning on carpooling or taking the shuttle. Please come if at all possible. This is our opportunity to heard and seen!

 Per Newport Count Chamber of Commerce:

The Chamber is working with STOP, Sakonnet Toll Opposition Platform, to provide complimentary coach/shuttle service to the Statehouse. The buses will leave the Stop and Shop in Middletown at 2:00 p.m., and will leave Clements Market in Portsmouth 2:15 p.m., and the Park and Ride, Fish Road, Tiverton at 2:30 p.m., and arrive at the Statehouse between 3:00 - 3:30 p.m.. They will be returning at approximately 10:00 p.m.
