Tiverton 1st is a grassroots community organization open to all who support preserving our quality of life in Tiverton by maintaining both our community and school services in a fiscally-responsible way, and promoting cooperation, compromise and community pride.
Membership is open to all Tiverton residents who are at least 18 years old & support Tiverton 1st's principles & goals (non-residents or those under 18 years old are welcome to join as non-voting members). COMMUNITY EVENT/JANUARY 1: PENGUIN PLUNGE AT GRINNELL'S BEACH TO BENEFIT TIVERTON LIBRARY

Tiverton Yacht Club announces it's annual Penguin Plunge to benefit the Tiverton Library Building Fund.

 Plunge into 2013 at Grinnell's Beach in Tiverton at noon on New Year's Day, Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013 at noon. All are welcome!!

 Hot coffee and hot cocoa will be available through the generosity of Coastal Roasters.
After the plunge, participants are welcome at a reception at Lil Bear, thanks to support from Huck Little.

Checks for donations may be made payable to Tiverton Library New Building Fund at the Essex Library or at the event. Suggested donation $10.
