TURNPIKE & BRIDGE AUTHORITY: "BUT WE ALREADY BUILT THE TOLL PLAZA!"

So let me see if I have this straight: the Turnpike & Bridge Authority's position is that our elected officials should reject a responsible way to fund bridge maintenance across the State without destructive tolls because...RITBA rushed to spend millions to install toll equipment, knowing full well that efforts were in the works in the Budget process to eliminate the tolls, and before the result was clear. No wonder they feel the need to bleed the East Bay to fund their operations.
