Tiverton 1st is a grassroots community organization open to all who support preserving our quality of life in Tiverton by maintaining both our community and school services in a fiscally-responsible way, and promoting cooperation, compromise and community pride.
Membership is open to all Tiverton residents who are at least 18 years old & support Tiverton 1st's principles & goals (non-residents or those under 18 years old are welcome to join as non-voting members). TIVERTON 1st BEGINS WORK ON NOVEMBER ELECTION

Tiverton 1st will again work to support candidates in the November election who best share our positive, community-based vision. Over the next few weeks, the T1 coordinators will consider candidates' records, views and responses on a candidate questionnaire to determine which candidates to recommend to Tiverton voters. 

 We will also be organizing a forum in October with the T1-recommended candidates, producing voter cards listing these candidates, and presenting information on Facebook, on this T1 blog (www.tiverton1st.blogspot.com), and in local media. 

 It will take all of us working together to inform voters and keep Tiverton moving forward in a positive, cooperative direction. Please share ideas / thoughts on how to achieve this goal here, or confidentially via email: tiverton1st@cox.net. TIVERTON 1st, TIVERTON PROUD!
